Our Twelfth Night party will be held on the evening of the twelfth day of Christmas! Join us a for a fun celebration of what Christ has done! More details coming soon.
Join us for an evening Lessons and Carols service on Christmas Eve. The service begins at 5 p.m. and will also be live-streamed on our YouTube channel.
Lessons and Carols—also known as the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols—is a longstanding Christmas Eve tradition, originating in the late 19th century and popularized by King's College, Cambridge. The service consists of nine Scripture lessons retelling the biblical history of the Fall, prophecies of the Messiah, and finally the birth of Christ as the fulfillment of Scripture. Each lesson is followed by a carol, poem, or anthem as a response.
Easter Sunday is the celebration of Jesus who has conquered sin and death and begun His beautiful work in us! Join us on Easter Sunday for a triumphant festival of worship through word and music!
Nursery and Children’s ministry is available during the sermon.
The Easter Vigil is the thrilling culmination of Holy Week and the entire church year. The service begins by taking us on a dramatic, creative, and artistic journey through the stories of the Old Testament that point to Christ. After these readings we will celebrate baptisms and then a joyous Easter Communion.
This service is child friendly in its drama and excitement so there will be no children’s church available (you are welcome to leave before the baptisms and continuation of the service).
This solemn, mostly-spoken service testifies to the mighty power of Jesus’ death on the Cross, the moment in history that begins the restoration and reconciliation of all things.
In this service we join Jesus’ disciples at the Last Supper the night before Jesus died. We participate with them as we follow Christ’s words to wash each other’s feet and remember him through Communion.
This kicks off Holy Week with a celebratory procession including music and palms that mirrors Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, creating excitement while foretelling the events to come. We invite all ages to participate.
There will be children's ministry and nursery during the sermon.

Prayer Shawl Ministry welcomes new members to our group. Completed shawls are given to members, family of members, friends or anyone in need of comfort and solace during a difficult time in life.
Our group meets the 1st Thursday of each month at 1:30 PM at the Church. The Shawls are knitted, crocheted, quilted or woven and prayer is an integral part of this ministry from beginning to end. The group prays over the shawls that have been made during the past month. Then, all shawls are blessed by our pastors.
We will teach you how to knit or crochet if you need instructions and provide simple, but beautiful patterns.
"Shawls ... made for centuries universal and embracing, symbolic of an inclusive, unconditionally loving, God. They wrap, enfold, comfort, cover, give solace, mother, hug, shelter and beautify. Those who have received these shawls have been uplifted and affirmed, as if given wings to fly above their troubles..."

After a well-received debut last year, Christ Our Hope has partnered again with Wolverine Farm Letterpress and Publick House for our second annual “Beer & Hymns” public outreach hymn-sing. Event takes place in the upstairs event hall* at Wolverine Farms Publick House on November 2nd from 7-9! Song booklets will be provided. The Publick House also serves coffee and tea if desired. As the weather gets colder, let’s gather indoors in the warmth of good company and boisterous singing!
Beer and Hymns has been done elsewhere in the country (and world) by many different churches, each in their own unique way. The event exists first and foremost to bring people of all walks together to experience authentic community and fellowship while raising voices - and glasses - in old time hymns (and maybe also some well-worn folk songs). Current church-goers, those who knew these hymns from a bygone era and haven't sung them in a while, or those who just appreciate the communal aspect of joining voices with others with little to no instrumental accompaniment may all be found at a Beer & Hymns. Bring a friend or three and let's sing!
*Please note the event hall is only accessible by a set of stairs
