Art of Neighboring class

What if Jesus meant that we should love our actual neighbors?

When Jesus was asked to sum up everything in one command, he said to love God with everything we have and to love our neighbors as ourselves. What would happen if every follower of Jesus took the Great Commandment literally? Is it possible that the solution to our society’s biggest issues has been right under our noses for the past two thousand years? (From the back-cover description of The Art of Neighboring.)

This six-week class will explore these and other questions around neighboring as discipleship. The book is not required to participate in the class. We’ll watch short videos from the authors of The Art of Neighboring, read scripture, and discuss the why and how of loving our literal neighbors as ourselves.

Childcare provided.
